Confusion around the intended application of PhRMA guidelines and lack of awareness of insurance implications for clinical trial participants are unnecessarily handicapping clinical trial enrollment. Reactions to recent PhRMA guidelines have caused some sponsors to overly limit tactics for motivating and retaining both sites and trial participants. By doing so, sponsors are further decreasing sites’ abilities to maintain participants’ engagement in trials, and may be limiting site performance. Likewise, a lack of strategic planning around the implication of insurance coverage for study participants is directly affecting the likelihood that otherwise interested patients will participate in clinical trials.  This Webinar will address these two important issues and share best practices optimizing participant enrollment and site engagement within applicable guidelines.
