Managing Flexibility and Capacity

Maintaining appropriate levels of flexibility and capacity is one of the major challenges for logistics and supply chain executives. Dynamic changes in the consumer world quickly change distribution requirements, resulting in an increased role for inventory control and supply chain visibility.

With the challenge of managing complex, global supply chains, it is very easy to get lost in your supply chain due to very limited visibility of a few points. It can cause excess safety stock and a huge loss in shareholder value. As a supply chain manager, you have to ensure you are using accurate, critical data to enable you to convert it into meaningful information – metrics, forecasts, trends, diagnostics towards visibility of future requirements, and visibility to inventory.

Join Tan Miller from Johnson and Johnson to learn his practices in cost effective supply chain planning to maintain an excellent view of logistics network and inventory control.
