Ian Brown, Leader of Internet Security, Communication Research Network
Ian works on public policy issues around information and the Internet, as well as the more technical fields of information security and networking at the Cambridge-MIT Institute and as a research fellow at University College, London.

He has worked on a wide range of information policy issues, including critical infrastructure protection, surveillance, privacy, export controls, copyright, and electronic voting. His reports and research papers have led NOP to name Ian as one of the 100 most influential people in the development of the Internet in the UK over the last ten years.

Gustavo de los Reyes, Technology Consultant, AT&T Labs
Gus is a Technology Consultant in the AT&T IP Application ad Services Security Group. This group is part of the AT&T Security Center of Excellence. Gus has responsibility for defining the security architecture and security requirements for key AT&T IP Services.

Gus has been with AT&T Labs (formerly AT&T Bell Labs) for 17 years. Gus has also contributed to AT&T in the areas of robust design, service delivery, and photonic development.

He has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and a BSME and MSE from MIT. Prior to joining AT&T, Gus designed control systems for General Electric Aircraft Engines.

Richard Polishak, Engineering Manager, Technology and Strategy, TELUS Communications Company
Richard  has over 15 years of experience in data, IP and telecommunications network design. He currently leads a team of VoIP architects for numerous hosted VoIP initiatives within TELUS and is based in Vancouver, British Columbia. 

Richard has designed a number of hosted VoIP and messaging networks for TELUS and has provided training and consultation to a number of international telecommunication organizations.

David Endler is the director of security research for 3Com's security division, TippingPoint. In this role, he oversees 3Com's internal product security testing, VoIP security center, and TippingPoint’s vulnerability research teams. Endler is also the chairman and founder of the industry group Voice over IP Security Alliance (VOIPSA). VOIPSA's mission is to drive adoption of VoIP by promoting the current state of VoIP security research, testing methodologies, best practices, and tools. Prior to TippingPoint, Endler led the security research teams at iDEFENSE. In previous lives, he has performed security research working for Xerox Corporation, the National Security Agency, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Endler is the author of numerous articles and papers on computer security and holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Tulane University .
