    Kurt N. Rindle holds a master of computer science (Diplom Informatiker) of the  University of Ulm and a Master of Business Adminsitration (University of Augsburg and Katz Executive School of Business in Pittsburgh, USA).


    The RFID market (radio frequency identification) is one of the big innovation areas for the industry. Within IBM, Kurt Rindle is responsible to develop the “RFID nucleus” within the EBO group (Emerging Business

    Opportunities) and achieve market acceptance. The resulting solutions are implemented with selected clients in pilot installations. Kurt Rindle and his team are making sure that IBM has the right offerings and skills available to support the customer in this stage and in all subsequent phases of the roll-out. His focus is on Automotive and Aerospace & Defense.

    Over the past 5 years, he has developed RFID references with clients like Metro Group AG and Deutsche Post World Net, world leaders in RFID Innovation.

    Sebastian Taylor, Global RFID Services Leader, IBM Global Technology Services  

    Sebastian Taylor is Global RFID Services Leader for IBM within IBM Global Technology Services. Based in Oslo, Norway, Mr. Taylor has extensive experience within the RFID area and is a recognized authority on the subject in Europe, and in the Norwegian market. He has been profiled and quoted a number of times around the RFID area in the European and Norwegian press (including an appearance on TV). Mr. Taylor has worked with RFID in multiple application areas including Supply Chain Management, Asset Management and Work in Process. He has also worked with RFID across a number of industry segments including Retail, Distribution & Logistics, Healthcare and the Industrial/Manufacturing area.

    Mr. Taylor has been working for 10 years within the Wireless Telecommunications area in the areas of Business Development, Marketing and Planning & Strategy. He has also been working for 5 years within the Retail Industry and another 4 years in Retail Banking. A native of Canada, Mr. Taylor has lived and worked in Scandinavia since 1992.

    Mr. Taylor holds and Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from The Norwegian School of Management in Norway, as well is a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.

      Pete Poorman, Application Program Manager, Intermec Technologies 

    Pete Poorman is an Application Platform Manager in the RFID Business Unit of Intermec, where he coordinates the company's offerings for key industries, including the automotive industry.
    Pete has deep experience in market
     analysis and strategy development, including covering the industry for analyst firm ABI Research, leading product management at RFID software vendor GlobeRanger Corporation, and strategic planning for the computer business at Hewlett-Packard Company.
