Eric Meyers, Data Protection Manager , DuPont  

Eric Meyers has been with DuPont for more than 21 years in a variety of assignments at various locations.  He has been in the Information Security organization since 2002 first serving as the Security Architect where he led the transition to a data-centric security strategy.    In his current role as Data Protection Manager, he is leading the development of a portfolio of service offerings to support the strategy.  Prior to joining the Information Security organization, Mr. Meyers led the IT Infrastructure organization for a start-up, wholly-owned subsidiary, DuPont Flooring Systems.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Drexel University.

Mark Thompson, Vice President of Product Management, Verdasys, Inc. 

Mark Thompson is Vice President of Product Management at Verdasys, Inc.  Verdasys is a leading provider of data security solutions and developer of the award winning Digital Guardian product line which provides capabilities for the discovery, audit, control and encryption of data across large enterprises.


Mr. Thompson is responsible for product strategy, release planning and product design for all Verdasys products including Digital Guardian and SiteTrust.  In addition, he is responsible for establishing and managing technology partnerships.


Prior to joining Verdasys, Mr. Thompson spent several years as a software industry analyst at AMR Research.  Previously, he has worked as a management consultant focusing on market strategy and acquisition evaluation for a number of Fortune 500 companies in the technology, pharmaceutical, and financial services sectors.


Mr. Thompson holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at MIT and a Master’s degree in Engineering from Stanford University.  He also received Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
