ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

Debra Magnuson, MA, CPCC, Senior Consultant, Personnel Decisions International  

Deb is a Senior Consultant with Personnel Decisions International in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she specializes in executive-level program facilitation, curriculum design, career consulting, and executive coaching. Deb presents to corporate, government, and non-profit audiences on managing across generations, and was a featured workshop speaker at the 2007 National Council on Aging Workforce Summit Conference. Before joining PDI, Deb was a partner in The ReFirement Group, where she coauthored The ReFirement Workbook, and spent more than twenty years in business as a corporate sales and leadership training specialist.  In her private coaching practice, she focuses on mid-life career transitions and finding job fit.

Deb is currently an instructor of The College of St. Catherine’s (St. Paul, MN) Leaders of the New Millennium program. She has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas, and is a certified coach.

Lora Alexander, MLIS, Research Director, Personnel Decisions International  

Lora is the Research Director at Personnel Decisions International in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is responsible for overall competitive and market intelligence; in particular, analysis of competitor strategy, competitor products, win-loss results, industries, market segments, and companies. In addition, she provides research consulting services for groups within PDI, including executives, organizational leaders, consultants, sales, marketing, and publishing.

Lora is an adjunct faculty member at Concordia University (St. Paul, MN) teaching Research and Survey Techniques in Human Resources to undergraduate students. She has a Master’s degree in Information and Library Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
