    ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS:

    Eduardo González, Manager, ICT and Headquarters, PromoMadrid

    Eduardo González joined PromoMadrid in 2005, where he heads ICT and Headquarters at the Invest Madrid Region division. He is responsible for providing tailored assistance to foreign ICT companies considering establishing their business in the Madrid Region. In addition, he promotes Madrid as an ICT and Regional Headquarter business hub internationally through various marketing activities.

    With a background as an analyst, Mr. González’s main areas of focus have been consulting, IT and telecommunications. Prior to joining PromoMadrid, he was Senior Consultant at Capgemini, serving clients in the Telecom industry on issues of strategy development and business transformation. Earlier in his career, he was Market Research Consultant at Frost & Sullivan in London, where he was involved in research on E-Commerce and Mobile Communications markets for international customers.

    Mr. González has a degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. He also holds a Master’s Degree in European Business from ESCP Europe, a leading school of management based in Paris.

    Jaime Giné, VP International Development Services, Electronic Arts

    Jaime Giné is Vice-President International Development Services in Electronic Arts, a role with world-wide responsibility over all of EA's shared development services related to the areas of asset localization, multilingual QA, internationalization tools development, localization and enterprise engineering, in-game audio, certification, compliance, first party relationships, license and first party submissions, global tools and technology and digital release and preservation management. Most of Mr. Giné’s career has been dedicated to globalization, enterprise tools development, internationalization and localization. He has had multiple roles at different stages in his career, most of them related to all the above, but mainly on project management and various management and executive positions, both on the vendor and client sides.

    Before joining EA, Mr. Giné worked in SDL plc, a global leader in software localization and globalization solutions, where he held various positions as departmental manager, project manager and division director.

    Mr. Giné has worked in business software projects for Microsoft, Oracle, Siebel and online projects for companies like eBay, but games have always been his passion. He has been part of more games teams than he can count, both in EA and before.

    Jose Antonio Sanchez, Partner, Head of Corporate, DLA Piper, Madrid

    Jose Antonio Sanchez joined DLA Piper as a partner in the Corporate Department specialising in Corporate matters (M&A, commercial and secretarial matters) in January 2005. Prior to that, he was a senior associate in Allen & Overy, within its M&A practice; previously senior legal counsel in the Telefonica's Terra Lycos Group; and associate at Clifford Chance for three years.

    Mr. Sanchez has experience in all aspects relating to mergers and acquisitions, cross border transactions, private equity, information technology law and practice, including intellectual property, content acquisition and syndication, co-branding agreements and joint ventures.

    Mr. Sanchez is a lecturer in the Masters course in International Legal Practice at the Instituto de Empresa Business School (Madrid, Spain), and a member of the advisory board of Euro Watch magazine. He was recognised by "Forty Under 40 2007" for his legal work
