JOB SUMMARY

Job Summary This role forms part of the Project Management team, who have responsibility for the management of a portfolio of complex multi-service projects. The team ensures projects are executed in accordance with agreed timelines, budgets and deliverables to support client and business needs.

As an Associate Project Manager, you will be a key part of the team’s success with responsibility for supporting the teams’ management of projects through effective co-ordination and system administration at all project stages, as well as the development of project timelines and plans.The Associate Project Manager will also manage routine projects following set process flows.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Provide administrative co-ordination and support to the Project Management team
• Management of routine projects and/or elements of complex projects under the guidance of a PM/Senior PM, as allocated by Head of Project Management.
• Ensuring a consistent approach for all project work by using approved templates and process flows
• Manage the Change Order process
• Program Management tasks within Microsoft Dynamics, such as invoicing, entering/updating project information

 

Experience and Skills

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge of the drug development process preferred
• Excellent IT skills, particularly MS Office Excel, Word and Project
• Experience of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.) desirable
• Experience managing customers and associated skills preferred
• Able to communicate and work with all levels of organizations, internally and externally

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Qualified to degree level, or equivalent, in a related discipline (science, business, etc.)
• Previous experience of a supporting Project Management role
• Working knowledge of contract biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing services and the pharmaceutical and biotech industries

Work Environment: This will be an office-based position that will require some non-standard working hours including early morning or later evening teleconferences to support global prospective and current clients
