Job Description

We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Senior Laboratory Technician in Sturgis, MI. The Senior Laboratory Technician role will conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests and perform qualitative analyses of materials, liquids, and gases. This role involves setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, or process control. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct chemical and physical tests on various substances to determine composition, quality, and physical properties.
• Perform qualitative analysis of materials, liquids, and gases to support research, quality control, or production processes.
• Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, ensuring optimal functionality for tests and procedures.
• Document and analyze test results, preparing detailed reports for use in decision-making or process improvements.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve project goals and meet deadlines.

EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting, with hands-on experience conducting tests and analyses.

EDUCATION
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
