Job Description

We are in search of a Sr. Manager of Global Sourcing who is highly motivated and experienced sourcing professional to manage the Software, Consulting Services, and Facilities commodities. You will partner with IT, finance, operations, and other key business units to ensure key company programs are supported by the best supplier partnerships. You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, recommend supplier selections, and manage the contract approval process from RFx through agreement(s) execution. This role will be responsible for negotiating a broad range of products and services, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on major company programs reporting directly to the VP of Sourcing and Procurement.

Essential Duties

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers considering IP protection, fast growing head count, shifting priorities, cost, and project timeline reduction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to manage different Categories as IT, Facilities, Consultancies.
  • Drive supplier selection through scorecard development considering cost, timeline, risk, etc.
  • Develop and execute indirect spend management processes
  • Align across key functions to ensure requirements are understood and addressed during RFx
  • Effectively address supplier performance escalations while maintaining key relationships
  • Communicate with situational awareness among cross-functional business partners
  • Build key relationships across the business to manage procurement processes and practices.

Education and/or Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related discipline; MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience with roles in sourcing, technology, and global operations
  • Significant experience in managing complex negotiations at fast growing company
  • Skilled in creating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and “What-If” scenario financial modeling
  • Understanding of contractual T&Cs including intellectual property ownership
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and influence key stakeholders and business partners
  • Understanding of IT Professional services agreements
  • Understanding of software models and how they are utilized (Saas, on-prem, IaaS, etc.)
  • Excellent communicator with ability to present to executive audience
  • Proven success working across functions and building strong cross-functional relationships
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% globally
  • Proficient with Google suite apps and MS PowerPoint
