Job Description

The Supply Chain Manager provides leadership and management of the Supply Chain Team for effective function of MiMedx Supply Chain. The function of the supply chain includes the origin of materials through customer point of use and all supporting relationships and requirements for business success.

We are excited to add a Supply Chain Manager to our Supply Chain and Procurement Team! The position will pay between $112,000-$135,000k based on previous relevant experience, educational credentials, and location.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of buyer planning staff, which can include procurement & planning specialists, consultants and administration assistance.
  • Develop an appropriate supply chain strategy to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest possible cost for the entire lifecycle of our product.
  • Coordinate, organize, and manage all logistics information for production and distribution processes including hourly, daily and monthly build plans, S&OP planning/reporting, and forecasting.
  • Works with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to plan and execute supply chain flow to/from suppliers, customers, warehouses, plants and departments.
  • Provide leadership updates and participate in quarterly and year-end inventory audits.
  • Is a critical participant in maintaining data integrity in all data bases including XLS, ERP, MES… etc.
  • Provide input and analysis as needed to departmental strategy and plans.

  • Performs full range of standard professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting, more complex, less clearly defined issues. Identifies problems and possible solutions and takes appropriate action to resolve them.

 

DECISION MAKING/SCOPE OF AUTHORITY:

  • The nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusual complex problems or issues.
  • Work review typically involves periodic review of output by supervisor and/or direct "customers" of the process.

 

SPAN OF CONTROL/COMPLEXITY: 

  • Fully competent and productive professional contributor, working independently on larger, moderately complex projects/assignments that have direct impact on department results.

 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Merchandise Planning, or Related Field.
  • In Depth knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Pivot Tables/V-Lookups.
  • Used to working with large data sets and complex Excel spreadsheets with significant detail.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work to deadlines and successfully lead multiple initiatives.
  • Understanding lean management and continuous improvement best practices, principles, and methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; capable of building relationships with many internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Able to effectively partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and accomplish goals.
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work assignments and new development opportunities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/EXPECTED BUSINESS TRAVEL:

 The work is typically performed in a normal office and manufacturing environment.  Role routinely uses standard office equipment.
