Sponsors conducting global clinical trials know that when it comes to clinical testing, finding a partner who can take ownership of the clinical testing logistics is critical. Successfully navigating the complexities associated with testing for global trials is no simple task, especially in trials involving the shipment of temperature-critical specimens. With varying regulations from country to country, it is essential to confirm acceptability and compliance ahead of shipping samples. This is where a central lab’s expertise can be instrumental, especially in challenging locations, such as Russia, China and Brazil.
Today, central labs that use 3P logistics principles when conducting clinical testing in challenging locations are playing an even greater role in helping navigate the complicated logistics associated with global trials. With a solid understanding of the People, Processes and Plans relating to a specific country’s regulatory framework, its infrastructure, size and how those variables factor into testing logistics, central labs are becoming an invaluable partner in formalizing a logistics strategy that takes into account all of the various touch points involved in ensuring specimen integrity to minimize risk while improving operational efficiencies in a global trial.
This webinar will give you the inside track on what you need to know about managing specimen logistics for global clinical trials. Attendees will hear real-world case studies demonstrating how a central lab using 3P logistics principles can manage complex clinical trial logistics more seamlessly.
Learn how to manage specimen logistics with this free webinar discussing how a central lab, using 3P logistics principles, can manage complex global clinical trial logistics more seamlessly.
Other key topics to be addressed include:
- Challenging locations – Russia, China, Brazil. A case study will be showcased and will discuss working within Brazil’s stringent shipping boundaries
- Managing the cold chain – lessons in maintaining sample integrity
- Assessing cultural fit when harmonizing global logistics
