More sponsors are seeking to launch and execute decentralized clinical trials (DCTs) than ever before. Industry watchers expect the market for DCTs to reach $10 billion by 2026, growing by 6.5% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the next five years. In 2020, COVID-19 catalyzed the already growing rate of DCT studies as many active studies without decentralized approaches were transitioned to support patient safety and trial continuity.

The result is that sponsors and CROs that were once slow to embrace the potential of DCTs, are now acutely aware of their advantages, such as higher patient engagement, optimized study enrollment, and patient retention. With all of this in mind, companies are now seeking to translate and expand upon the lessons they learned running DCTs during the pandemic – namely, applying DCT solutions globally.

Register for this webinar to hear Trinette Mitchell, Head, Clinical Trial Innovation, Takeda and John Reites, CEO, THREAD will share best practices and lessons learned over the past years in conducting global DCTs, including how to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
