Andrea Zangara is Dottore in Clinical Psychology (University of Padua, Italy) and holds an MSc in clinical phytotherapy (University of Barcelona, Spain). He has more than 20 years of international experience in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical research and development, holding executive positions in academia and the industry in several countries. In 2017, he joined Euromed and is currently the Head of Scientific Communications & Marketing. He is an Adjunct Research Fellow at Swinburne University, Australia, and collaborates with ESCOP and other international expert groups to focus on quality control in herbal medicines.

He is author or co-author of over 30 research papers, review articles, book chapters or books, including on the Mediterranean diet.
