Spatial Transcriptomics: Uses and Limitations of a Powerful Technique

Life Sciences, Drug Discovery & Development, Laboratory Technology, Fundamental Research,
  • Tuesday, October 26, 2021

Spatial transcriptomics is a powerful technique for quantitation of gene expression within histopathology samples, such as heterogeneous areas of tumors, their adjacent microenvironment or related inflammatory/immune cells. The team at Cellecta uses the Nanostring GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiling (DSP) platform to provide simultaneous, highly multiplex spatial profiling of proteins or RNA in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissues.

In this webinar, featured speakers will first review how the methodology works, and then use specific case studies to illustrate key considerations in experimental design, data collection and interpretation. The webinar will also highlight important benefits of spatial profiling services. This includes expert pathologist consultation regarding sample preparation, as well as optimal selection of regions of interest (ROIs) to best address investigators’ questions.

Register for this webinar to learn how best to apply spatial transcriptomics techniques in gene expression studies.
