Tissue TrackingRecent advances in medical device technology, surgical procedures and tissue preservation are revolutionizing the health care industry. Most experts agree that we have just scratched the surface of the potential that this new medicine offers. However, this expanded capability requires an equally sophisticated system to track devices, prosthetics and tissues as they move through the supply chain. A mistake or shortfall at any point can have serious consequences both to the patient and the provider.

Learn How To:

  • Provide absolute accountability by tracking every transaction, virtually eliminating shrinkage and maximizing revenue, especially for consignment based products
  • Reduce the need for physical inventory counts, which lowers overhead costs and eliminates human error
  • Reduce stock-outs, which ensures product availability
  • Reduce expired product, thereby ensuring tissue viability and the prospect of improved patient outcomes

Speakers

Peter Casady, CEO & President, Champion Medical Technologies

Pete has over 20 years of experience in field sales and distribution in the medical device field. After working for US Surgical in the mid 1980′s, he spent over 12 years at Osteotech, Inc. in positions of increasing responsibility in field sales management. He started a surgical implant distribution company in 2000 called Heritage Medical Group, representing 8 different manufacturers and serving over 500 hospitals in the Midwest. After seeing first-hand the costly gaps in managing inventory within hospitals and through his manufacturers, he and Tom Casady created Champion Medical Technologies to create solutions like UDITrackerR to address this pervasive need.
