How We Got Here

Xtalks, a division of Honeycomb Worldwide Inc., is founded on experience. The company boasts a team with many decades of experience drawn from traditional events, publishing and new media sectors.

2002

Xtalks’ parent company, Honeycomb Worldwide created and was one of the first companies to build an online B2B social network.

2004

Xtalks was launched and produced its first virtual online business-to-business conference.

2005

Xtalks hosts one of the earliest, largest and most international business-to-business webinars with over 800 participants from over two dozen countries.

2006

Honeycomb Worldwide Inc. is ranked 15th by Profit Magazine on the “Profit Hot 50” list of Canadian Emerging Growth Companies.

2010

Xtalks sharpens focus on building virtual communities in key process industries, including the life science, pharmaceutical, medical device and food industries.

2012

Xtalks focuses on expanding its reach on other complementary social media platforms.

2014

Xtalks moves to a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified building, and expands its dedicated digital event studios.

2015

Xtalks Vitals is launched providing audiences with an innovative video news channel and original editorial content.

2016

Xtalks hosts and produces its first webinar in a variety of languages to cater to audiences across Asia.

2017

Xtalks reveals new website to satisfy community demand for unrestricted access to quality content, offering enhanced tools for collaboration and interaction.

2020

Xtalks launches its proprietary career module, Xtalks Job Search, with the goal of connecting its life science-focused members with leading employers.
