The Analytical Support Scientist will be responsible for performing multiple tasks within the Process Development group in support of biologics manufacturing process. The Scientist will perform a variety of responsibilities in both a team and individual setting. This position is an on-site position.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Planning, execution and reporting of lab experiments for
  • (i) general operations support
  • (ii) investigation and evaluation of deviations in production and in quality of Client products
  • (iii) evaluation of process changes/improvements (iv) evaluation of alternative suppliers for Client products. Literature research, development of experimental designs/assays according to project needs
• Laboratory experiments include planning, execution, documentation, and data evaluation, all according to the required quality standards. As well as suggesting experiments or improvements
• Support maintenance of the laboratory infrastructure, order, safety, and stock of suppliers together with Client laboratory employees in the Client Investigations team

BASIC MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS or BA degree in biology, chemistry or biochemistry
• Experience executing bioassays (HPLC, SDS-Page, Elisa etc.)
• At least one year of experience working in analytical support

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree
