Job Description

The Medical Affairs Lead will co-lead the development of the medical plan and execution of the medical affairs activities for an immunology asset (autoinflammation), as well as provide cross-functional medical support to scientific communications and commercial functions.

Key Responsibilities

Co-create the global medical strategy, including the following deliverables:

  • Build and execute the global medical and tactical plan
  • Manage engagement with global KOLs
  • Support the development and implementation of internal and external medical/scientific communication and education activities and materials
  • Provide scientific input to the development of material driven by cross-functional teams.

To be successful in these activities, the Medical Affairs Lead :

  • Will possess and continue to develop significant level of knowledge in immunology (autoinflammation)
  • Will build and further develop productive relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Will develop productive relationships and contributions within the cross-functional headquarter team, as well as with local affiliate offices, and collaborative partners
  • Will role model the highest scientific and ethical standards, and work in accordance with applicable rules and regulations with regards medical activities activities

Qualifications

Experiences/Competencies

  • >5 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (e.g., Medical Affairs)
  • Significant level of knowledge in immunology
  • Global/regional experience is desirable
  • Experience and ability to engage with external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to build and execute strategic and tactical medical plans
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately and effectively evaluate and analyse medical/scientific literature
  • Developed presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong intercultural competencies
