Job Description

We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as an Associate Scientist in Lake Bluff, IL. The Associate Scientist role will support reagent manufacturing, conduct laboratory experiments, and assist in process improvements. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct laboratory experiments following established protocols
• Support reagent manufacturing processes and contribute to product improvements
• Investigate internal nonconformances and customer complaints related to reagents
• Design experiments and testing schemes, analyze data, and interpret results
• Write protocols, reports, and technical documents
• Present findings and updates to cross-functional teams
• Perform and document Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) activities
• Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and GMP regulations (knowledge of audits is a plus)
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting project deadlines

EXPERIENCE
0-2 years of related experience required

EDUCATION
Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in science or a related discipline required

SHIFT: Variable (8-hour shifts)
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Weekend Availability: We request volunteers to work 1-2 Saturdays per month (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
