We are excited to add a Market Access Specialist to our Market Access team! The position will pay between $73,000-$88,000k based on previous relevant experience, educational credentials, and location.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Supports the Market Access & Pricing Manager in delivering insights to the Commercial team through regular and ad-hoc reporting. Pulls data from various sources and aggregates the data into a centralized, workable file to extract necessary insights. Determines a need from the audience and customizes delivery methodology accordingly while simultaneously anticipating and proactively acting on future needs. Assists in maintaining tracking files that aggregate unique customer identifiers to health systems and integrated delivery networks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Takes ownership of monthly and quarterly Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) and Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) reporting
- Works closely with Contract Administration to maintain health system and integrated delivery network crosswalk files
- Collaborates with Sales Operations on ad-hoc requests from National Accounts and/or Field Sales
- Tracks and provides insights for local agreements to include sales information, timeframes and future disposition/analyses of agreements
- Assists with Pricing Committee material, tracking and action items
- Maintains and updates pricing sheets and history
- Maintains Business Review data/template and provides detailed Customer reporting
- Assists in monthly and quarterly GPO/IDN membership audits
- Completes analytics for RFP response and proposal development
- Completes analytics for new products and line extensions
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
- 3+ years of related work experience
- Proven ability to understand and take ownership of technical tasks
- Proven effectiveness in communicating and working with varying audiences
- Prefer understanding reimbursement in healthcare
- Prefer Healthcare/bio pharma experience
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven competence and comfort in Microsoft Excel including, but not limited to, lookups, pivot tables, formatting, graphics and macros
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to understand background data to engineer tailored reporting in Microsoft Excel
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships with stakeholders from varying disciplines
- Organized, flexible, and able to multi-task while maintaining a high level of efficiency and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and technical skills
- Proven ability to draw insights from data and effectively communicate to a broad audience
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The is a remote based role after training has been completed. Occasional meetings maybe be required. Position will require some travel; less than 10%
