What Global Data Management Does at Worldwide

Data Management is an ever-growing and collaborative department. Our global team is a group of diverse individuals with wide-ranging experience within the industry. From start to finish, we are involved in clinical studies beginning with building the study database, to locking and delivering the final dataset for the project. Data Management reviews and ensures the clinical study data is of high quality for regulatory submissions.

The Data Management group is the perfect place to launch or further your career. Whether it is technical expertise, or coming from a clinical background, you’re able to hone and expand your skillset within our department. Spanning various roles from data support staff, database and SAS programmers, coders, and functional leads, there is a place for you!

What you will do

  • Provide global leadership of the department, including setting strategic direction and leading change
  • Plan and develop overall strategies for the future of the Data Management and Database Programming department including system and resource needs
  • Assume overall responsibility for the efficiency of the Data Management department, utilizing metrics on quality and efficiency and feedback from internal and external customer
  • Monitor departmental budgets and have oversight of project PPRs, ensuring DM staff are adhering to trial budgets and timelines


What you will bring to the role

  • A good standard of written and spoken English
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to and direct project plans
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously; flexible and able to use sound independent judgment and take initiative to assess information
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Data Management Systems and Principles


Your experience

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
  • 12 years of relevant Data Management experience preferred within the CRO industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail are essential
  • Experience in management over large teams and initiatives
  • Proven ability to design and/or develop Data Management solutions deployed in clinical trials
  • Good knowledge of guidelines and regulations relevant to the deployment of technologies and programming in clinical development programs
