Job Description

TheĀ Senior Medical Science LiaisonĀ (MSL) role will serve as the scientific interface between Novocure and the healthcare professional communities with respect to communicating scientific information about Novocure products, scientific data and clinical development plans. The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships within the medical/scientific community and providing medical and/or scientific data about Novocure products and research to healthcare professionals. Clinical, scientific and technical expertise will be maintained through review of scientific literature, attendance at assigned medical meetings and self-learning. The Sr. MSL will work closely with cross-functional partners including R&D, Clinical Operations, and the Canada BU. This role will support the western Canadian region and drive GBM launch and contribute to pre-launch activities for future indications.

This is a full-time, exempt, field-based role reporting to the Medical Director, CNS CancersĀ Canada.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDĀ RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide field-based medical information, scientific data and education to HCPs on Novocure's Health Canada approved and pipeline products
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with thought leaders, clinical investigators,Ā andĀ other providers in the scientificĀ community
  • Support the Clinical Operations organization, as needed, in Novocure's sponsoredĀ research
  • Serve as the primary liaison with investigators interested in discussing and developing investigator initiated research of Fields, inovitroTM or Novocure investigational products
  • Ensure compliance in all scientific communications and education in disease states of interest toĀ Novocure
  • Attend and provide scientific support of Canada Medical Affairs activities and scientific sessionsĀ atĀ regional and national congressĀ meetings
  • Provide Novocure with Competitive Intelligence (Cl), disease treatment trends and relevant keyĀ insights
  • Serve as an internal scientific resource for training and educationalĀ support

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Advanced degree with scientific/clinical backgroundĀ preferred
  • At least 3 years' experience as an MSL, or comparable roleĀ required
  • At least 5 years of combined oncology or industry experienceĀ required
  • Ability to travel up to 60% throughout Canada, with some international travel
  • Must have excellent verbal skills, strong presentation skills, writingĀ skills
  • Possess a proven ability to effectively communicate complexĀ information
  • Must demonstrate fluency in articulating scientific concepts andĀ data
  • Must have good judgment, ability to adapt and change in a shiftingĀ environment
  • A strategic, passionate, self-starter who takesĀ initiative
  • Must work well in large and small teams, ability to workĀ remotely
