Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer. The Senior QA Engineer will perform different types of testing on our applications. This role will partner with engineering, product, and other QA team members to ensure the quality of the products.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain manual test case and Test artifacts.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for our applications
- Performed both manual and automation testing.
- Communication with management and project stakeholders.
- Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
- Leading in designing QA test procedures for multiple projects.
- Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
- Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
- Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
- Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
- Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
- Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the production.
- A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
- Experience in functional and non-functional testing.
- Have a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and process.
- Owning the overall testing process & testing artifacts.
- More responsible for the actions in meeting the release criteria and deadlines.
Requirements:
- Passion for quality, exceptional attention to detail.
- Creative thinker and strong problem solver.
- Comfortable using software debugging tools.
- Experience with manual testing.
- Experience developing an automation script using Java.
- Experience with test automation, framework improvements, and Api testing.
- Proven proficiency working with the following: JAVA, Selenium, jUnit
- Working knowledge of build and deployment automation using tools such as Jenkins
- Experience automating tests for mobile and web applications, and APIs
- Experience in performance test automation using tools such as JMeter,
- Very good understanding of general Software Testing (Functional, System, Database and backend, Regression, Smoke, UAT).
- Agile/Scrum team experience.
- Test planning, test data setup, and management.
- Good understanding of database testing.
- Web Browser/Mobile Testing & Compatibility
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Comfortable collaboration with other Testers, Software Engineers, BA and Product team.
- Experience with tools such as Practitest and JIRA.
- Familiar with application development and manual test best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A complete understanding of the software development lifecycle and development methodologies, the role of QA, and the ability to create effective, sustainable test strategies are required.
- Strong knowledge of QA principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to QA team members and other stakeholders in resolving quality-related issues.
- Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization.
- Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes.
- Manages testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 to 9 years hands-on experience both manual and automation testing.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the Clinical Research Organization (CRO) or pharmaceutical industry.
Education (one of the following)
- Bachelor's degree: in Computer Science or a related field work experience.
- Associate's degree in computer science or work experience in a related field
