  • Job responsibilities

  • Accountable for ensuring delivery of the assigned book of according to the contracted scope, timeline and budget, in accordance with Company's SOPs, GCP and ICH guidelines and all applicable regulations.
  • Accountable for ensuring achievement of operational and financial targets for the assigned Segment through active participation in the Risk Review Process and routine review of metrics and KPIs via the available suite of dashboards and reports.
  • Participates in governance meetings with customers (Steering Committees).
  • Provides input into both short- and long-term strategic planning for all aspects of Global Project Management organization's operations and growth. Interacts with executive management and contributes operational input to other departments, as appropriate.
  • Ensures quality standards are set and maintained over all areas of responsibility. Ensures adherence to CAPA and QI timelines and outcomes for assigned book of work.
  • Provides input into resourcing strategy in relation to customer proposals (e.g., RFIs, RFPs), in addition to contributing to the budget/proposal QC and approval process; may support with key customer meetings related to new business capture (e.g., bid defense meetings).
  • Participates in discussions with their TA Head regarding both annual forecast planning and adjustments to forecasts based on quarterly reporting for both the TA and the organization.
  • Participates in strategic resourcing and prioritization of projects across the portfolio.
  • May interact with senior management of sponsor companies, vendors and other groups to address operational risks and issues.
  • Responsible for line management and mentoring of Project Delivery Leads within the assigned Segment.
  • Supports with implementation of enterprise-wide project management systems and tools; serves as a Change Management Champion.
  • Represents the Company by attending industry meetings, speaking engagements, participating in booth exhibitions, etc.
  • Supports with the development of SOPs and departmental processes, training, staffing requirements, etc.
  • Maintains deep knowledge of evolving trends related to therapeutic area, competitive landscape (e.g., standard of care) and drug development trends-in addition to a strong understanding of the Company's breadth of service offerings.

  • Qualifications

    What we're looking for

  • Requires a BA/BS in the life sciences, nursing degree, or equivalent education or equivalent related experience, plus extensive clinical research experience in a contract research organization, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology company
  • Multiple years of project delivery oversight or demonstrated track record of strong project delivery oversight
  • Prior cross-functional project management experience within the clinical trial industry is require
  • Pharma/CRO experience is required, to include client relationship management
  • Thorough knowledge of FDA regulations, drug development, and clinical monitoring procedures is necessary
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency with ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks within a dynamic projectized matrix team environment is essential - all while assuring project delivery on time and with quality
  • Requires strong presentation, documentation and interpersonal skills as well as a team-oriented approach
