Cinnamon Toast Crunch has expanded their retail availability of its Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Seasoning Blend to 4,300 stores nationwide. This seasoning blend was first introduced to the market in September 2020 and has exploded in popularity since then.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Seasoning Blend captures the cinnamon flavors associated with their famous cereal brand. The seasoning blend can be used on toast, pancakes, cookies, ice cream and more.
Cinnadust can be found in supermarkets in over 4,300 stores nationwide in the spice aisle and is also available at online retailers.
“Consumers clamored to get their hands on Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Seasoning Blend during the club rollout in September,” said Jillian Vazzano, brand manager at B&G Foods, the company behind the cereal brand, in a press release. “With the introduction of two new package size, and dozens of national grocery chains and online retailers now carrying stock, we’re thrilled that Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Seasoning Blend is now available to Cinnamon Toast Crunch enthusiasts everywhere.”
The cinnamon blend includes hints of caramel, vanilla and graham flavoring, which can be sprinkled on foods, mixed into batters or whipped into creams and butters.
The makers of Cinnadust has provided fans with recipes online to enable them to be adventurous with their meals. Recipes include Sweet Potato Casserole with Cinnadust, Cinnadust Streusel Parfait and Cinnadust Snickerdoodles.
“Families are increasingly experimenting with spices and seasonings in the kitchen, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Seasoning Blend is our latest category innovation,” said Jordan Greenberg, executive VP & chief commercial officer at B&G Foods, in a statement back in 2020. “Cinnadust Seasoning Blend gives families the opportunity to add the iconic breakfast cereal flavor—and a little bit of nostalgia—to any food or beverage.”
The ingredients of Cinnadust include sugar, cinnamon, salt, calcium stearate and silicon dioxide, natural flavor and sunflower oil. There are four grams of sugar per one teaspoon of the Cinnadust blend.
This isn’t the first time a seemingly simple spice blend has taken the world by storm. Trader Joe’s Everything Bagel Seasoning has been a major trend seen across all social media platforms in the past couple of years. For a while, the spice was sold out nationwide and #everythingbagel was a trending hashtag. Recipes for Everything Bagel chicken, cream cheese, stuffed peppers, eggs and more were seen all over social media. The seasoning is a blend of poppy and sesame seeds, garlic, dried onion and salt.
Everything bagels have been around for a long time, but Everything Bagel Seasoning from Trader Joe’s was introduced in 2017. And as a Forbes headline from 2018 stated, “Everything Is Everywhere.”
According to Grand View Research, the global seasoning and spices market was valued at $13 billion in 2019 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.3 percent from 2020 to 2027. The convenience of purchasing ready-to-use spices to enhance food flavors has increased in popularity in both commercial and household markets.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cinnadust Seasoning Blend has joined this market and is available for sale in two sizes: 3.5 oz at the retail price of $2.99 and 6.5 oz at a retail price of $4.99.
