Job Description

The Quality Control Laboratory Coordinator is responsible for ensuring equipment and materials for finished product testing activities are available and accordance to GMP standards and FDA/ISO regulations. The successful candidate will have experience working in a Quality environment, have an in-depth knowledge of knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment maintenance,

 

This position is part of the Quality Organization and will be located in Lodi, California At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate instrument maintenance and repairs with QC, calibration teams, and vendors.
  • Perform maintenance and monitoring of laboratory materials and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain instruments and troubleshoot instrument issues.

 

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • High School degree (or equivalent experience) with 2-4 years of related work experience
  • AA or Technical Trade Degree with 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in working with scheduling and coordinating activities.
  • Experience in performance equipment maintenance.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biology, microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry or similar scientific discipline.
  • Experience working in GMP compliance environment.

The salary range OR the hourly range for this role is <$31-$34>. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

 

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
