About the Job

The Sr Product Transfer Associate plays a vital role in transitioning products from design and development to full-scale production. The individual will also be responsible for root cause investigations under the guidance of senior team members. This is a training role for Product Transfer Engineer I.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Operate within the Quality Management System (QMS) and following GLP guidelines when documenting work.
  • Able to execute test protocols and participate in activities related to completion of deviations, non-conformances, ECR/ECO/DCO’s.
  • Executes experiments in support of validation/qualification activities including design verification studies with guidance from senior members of the team.
  • Perform routine device investigations escalated from production and customer complaints.
  • Participate in driving continuous improvement projects to completion.
  • Compiles data and uses statistical methodology as needed for data analysis with guidance from senior members of the team.
  • Utilizes data to meticulously plan the next experiment with a high level of detail.
  • Work closely with R&D and Technical operations to develop potential mitigations and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations at team meetings

On Your First Day We’d Like You to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 0-1 year of related work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skill
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks and/or motions.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 lbs.

It’s Great If You Have

  • Experience with fast pace / high volume disposable in ISO environment (Medical Device preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills: Able to work independently and in a team setting

Salary Range

  • $30/hr - $37.50/hr (Hourly range for candidates based in San Jose, CA)
  • Compensation for the role is based on geographical location.
  • Compensation also depends on a number of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
