The COVID-19 pandemic spurred the need for digital and remote solutions in many clinical spaces. This includes digitalized service platforms that foster connectivity between devices.

In this webinar, attendees will learn about Elekta’s comprehensive radiotherapy service platforms, which include both hardware and software solutions that enhance clinical capabilities to deliver the best patient care. From equipment connectivity to treatment planning systems, learn about how device connectivity can improve the patient experience and patient outcomes.

Elekta helps 2 million patients in 120 companies with critical radiotherapy treatments. They depend on their over 80 percent fleet connectivity of 21,000 devices to unify sites, people, knowledge and spare parts to make delivery of therapy both predictable and reliable. In addition, equipment lifetimes can run 10–15 years, making service and overall aftermarket business an important growth area for Elekta. It contributes not only 40 percent of annual turnover, but offers a more predictable revenue stream.

Elekta are clear that their digital transformation is real and delivers real results. They rely on their digital systems, including their ElektaCare and proprietary “IntelliMax” systems, to enhance delivery of service and support, including that delivered remotely, as they work to earn a position as a “lifetime companion” to their customers. In addition to delivering real, measurable benefits, their investment has resulted in patents for their digital capabilities.
