As the new leadership at the US Department of Health and Human Services continues to evolve its policy agenda, vaccine regulation and access policies remain a dynamic and consequential area for stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem — particularly payers, pharmaceutical manufacturers and providers. With structural and procedural changes now underway across key public health institutions, the landscape for vaccine evidentiary review, coverage, distribution and administration is shifting rapidly. This timely webinar will unpack the critical developments shaping vaccine access policy in 2025 and explore what these changes mean for the future of vaccine commercialization, payer coverage and provider practices.

Key areas of focus will include:

  • Recent changes to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), including changes in how evidence is assessed and how coverage recommendations are communicated, and the response to these changes from key medical societies
  • Impact of the new COVID-19 regulatory framework on vaccine access and spillover effects for other novel vaccines
  • Role of the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission in re-shaping the immunization schedules and vaccine safety monitoring systems
  • Provider adaptation to this changing environment, including responses to federal guidance, evolving payer policies and operational logistics that affect stocking, reimbursement and integration of vaccination into clinical workflows

Given the role these interventions play in disease and illness prevention, staying ahead of vaccine policy is critical for strategic public health decision-making. This webinar will equip pharma, vaccine buyer groups and providers with the insights needed to effectively support patient access and prepare for the downstream effects of shifting immunization policy dynamics.
