ICON plc is proud to sponsor a panel discussion focused on the participation of women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields, specifically as it relates to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and clinical research industries.

Register for this panel discussion to hear from leaders within the biotech industry about the unique position women are in to help one another thrive and insights on how to navigate a career in STEM fields. Our panel of experts will discuss the increase in female representation in STEM fields, the importance of mentoring and coaching and how the biotech and pharmaceutical industries can support and advance more female leaders.

ICON is a long-standing partner of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and their annual Light the Night campaign. Light the Night is a unique community-based event to support blood cancer patients and their caregivers. This partnership between LLS and ICON allows the companies to jointly support our communities and the growth of those communities. Leukemia is one of the most commonly diagnosed forms of blood cancer, an umbrella term for cancers that affect the blood, bone marrow and lymphatic system. There are approximately 140 different types of blood cancers; most are rare, life-threatening conditions requiring advanced research and support from the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. For more information, visit www.LLS.org, or to donate to LLS’ Light the Night event, click here.
