Loren DeVito, PhD
Loren DeVito, PhD is a contributing Xtalks journalist with over 10 years of scientific communications experience. Loren received her bachelor's in psychology at Cornell University and her PhD in neuroscience at Boston University. She was also a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Hospital for Sick Children on a grant supported by the Alzheimer's Society of Canada. Her research included hippocampal and prefrontal contributions to memory and cognition at the behavioral, systems, and cellular levels. She also pursued study of pre-clinical models of schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease. Loren is committed to communicating evidence-based information to professional and consumer audiences in a digestible and engaging manner, and greatly enjoys science storytelling.
