Cardi B has partnered with Starco Brands to introduce a vodka-infused whipped cream called Whipshots. The whipped cream is a one-of-a-kind spirits product that elevates any classic beverage to add some playfulness to sophistication.
Unlike any other spirit in the market, this combines whipped cream with alcohol, combining luxury with indulgence. Whipshots has 10 percent alcohol per volume and does not require any refrigeration, making it perfect for events.
“It’s going to be a party in every can,” said Cardi B in a press statement “No matter where you are, you can party like Cardi, and I’m so excited to finally be able to share this one-of-a-kind product with all of you.”
Every day throughout December, Whipshots will be releasing 500 cans for purchase through Whip Drop, which is the company’s online website. When the product first dropped, it was sold out within minutes. Whip Drop will allow fans to purchase their own Cardi B exclusive products from the comfort of their homes. Additionally, in partnership with Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), the product will be available in stores across the US in the next year.
“At Starco Brands we pride ourselves on only commercializing products and technologies that are truly behavior changing,” says Ross Sklar, CEO of Starco Brands. “Whipshots is one of the most innovative products to ever hit the spirits vertical. This combines delectable flavors, cutting-edge creative direction and a world-class celebrity and influencer strategy. We are honored and thrilled to be shaking up the spirits world and cannot wait for everyone to experience this party in a can.”
Not only can this product be used to make festive drinks more exciting, but it can be a great addition to desserts such as pies and brownies. In addition, the company provides consumers with a list of recipes to choose from to get more creative. These ideas include a Caramel Queen Dessert, Cardi Cacao, or a Fire Island.
Whipshots are available in three sizes, 50mL, 200 mL and 375 mL, at a retail price of $5.99, $13.99 and $19.99, respectively.
Thus, celebrities are becoming more and more involved in the food industry as they partner with various companies to launch their own products. Most recently, Justin Bieber teamed up with Tim Hortons to introduce Timbiebs which have been quite successful as seen on social media. Mariah Carey also teamed up with McDonald’s to introduce the Mariah Menu throughout the month of December. Additionally, Megan Thee Stallion teamed up with Popeyes to launch her own “Hottie Sauce,” which has been quite a success.
Celebrity endorsements and branding can increase sales significantly. According to Financial Express, celebrities can enhance the effectiveness of marketing strategies and they can connect with customers fast and rely on them choosing that product. Endorsements can increase sales by four percent and with their social media, they can drive product sales even faster.
