Recently, big food companies have been making news for collaborating with celebrities to spread their flavors more widely. Some recent popular partnerships include Megan Thee Stallion working with Popeyes for the “Hottie Sauce” collaboration and McDonald’s partnering with BTS to create a different chicken nugget menu.
Just in time for the Holidays, also known as Mariah Carey season, the singer is collaborating with McDonald’s to give customers a different menu item for free each day from the Mariah Menu.
The deal will be available in McDonald’s restaurants in the US from December 13th to December 24th, the 12 days before Christmas. When consumers order a minimum order of $1 from the McDonald’s app, they can receive a free item from the Mariah Menu.
Mariah Carey is a big fan of McDonald’s and the company decided to take all her favorite meals and spread them across the 12 days. Some of the items include a Big Mac, McChicken Sandwich, Apple Pie, Sausage Biscuit and cookies.
“Some of my favorite memories with my kids are our family trips to McDonald’s, and of course, each of us has our go-to order. Mine is the Cheeseburger, and I get it with extra pickles,” said Mariah Carey in a press release. “Bringing together some of our favorite food from McDonald’s with my all-time favorite season is a holiday wish come true.”
Daily deals are already available in the McDonald’s app, which users can use to receive deals for that specific day. However, the partnership with Mariah Carey takes this concept to a new level in the collab with Christmas’s biggest star.
“Mariah goes with the holidays like ketchup and fries, so we couldn’t think of a better partner to help us celebrate the upcoming season,” said Jennifer Healan, vice president of the US marketing, brand content and engagement of McDonald’s USA, in the same press release “Just like McDonald’s brings people around the table with their favorite orders, Mariah’s music connects us all during this time of the year. We’re so excited to team up to bring even more holiday cheer to our fans.”
Mariah Carey and her team worked with McDonald’s to create a fun and festive way to present traditional McDonald’s items to her Lambily family; the name Mariah gives her fans. The two parties want to ensure that when a customer receives an item from the Mariah Menu, that they know she’s behind it.

In more celebrity food news, Justin Bieber has collaborated with iconic coffee chain Tim Hortons to introduce new food items and branded merchandise.
On November 29th, the first phase of this new collab will launch in participating Tim Hortons in the US and Canada, offering consumers “Timbiebs Timbits.”
With Bieber’s approval, Tim Hortons will be introducing Chocolate White Fudge, Sour Cream Chocolate Chip, and Birthday Cake Waffle flavors in the Timbiebs Timbits line of donuts.
“Doing a Tim Hortons collab has always been a dream of mine,” Justin Bieber said in a press release. “I grew up on Tim Hortons and it’s always been something close to my heart.”
“He knows exactly what our guests already love about the Tim’s brand and he’s helping us deliver new menu innovations that we know they’re going to love. We’re really looking forward to what’s next,” said Hope Bagozzi, chief marketing officer for Tim Hortons.
Timbiebs merch will also be available in participating restaurants starting November 29, with more details on that to be released soon.
