What do you think about increasing US hospital pricing transparency?

As of January 1, 2019, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services introduced a new rule requiring US hospitals to list standard charges on the web. Not everybody agrees that adding a price tag to each hospital service will help patients make informed decisions about their healthcare. What are your thoughts?
