Bioinformatics Applied Research & Technology Internship (Undergraduate or Graduate)
LOCATION: Louisville, CO - On-Site
START DATE RANGE: MAY 11 to MAY 18, 2026 | END DATE RANGE: JULY 31 to AUGUST 7, 2026
TIME COMMITMENT: 20-30 hours per week

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Build analysis pipelines using AWS and RStudio
- Develop custom queries and databases
- Establish and maintain a GitHub repository
- Learn coding best practices
- Analyze results and present findings to various audiences
- Occasionally assist in the commercial lab (e.g., tube labeling, organization)
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Education: Undergraduate or Graduate student in Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or Biology (with interest in bioinformatics)
- Coursework: Biology required; genetics, computational biology, or computer science helpful
- Experience with R, Linux, and/or Python, required
- Familiarity with coding best practices and quantitative skills are a plus
WHAT YOU'LL GET:

COMPENSATION
- Undergraduate Rate of $19.00 per hour
- Graduate Rate of $21.00 per hour
