We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client’s team as a Chemist III in Pomona, CA. The Chemist III role will support the development and validation of calibrators and controls that accompany urine and oral fluid drug abuse assays. Their work will have a direct impact on the organization and the larger clinical industry, making this an amazing career opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and perform LCMS test methods for drug detection in oral fluid and urine samples.
• Conduct test method characterization (TMC) and test method validation (TMV) to support product release of calibrators and controls.
• Ensure compliance with FDA and other regulatory requirements.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with 7+ years of experience, or Master’s degree in Chemistry with 2+ years of experience.
• Proven experience developing and performing TMCs and/or TMVs on LCMS platforms.
• Working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, including Shimadzu LCMS and Hamilton liquid handlers (e.g., STAR, STARlet, Nimbus).
• Strong laboratory skills and experience working in GMP/GLP-compliant environments.
• Excellent documentation skills and familiarity with regulatory requirements in an FDA-regulated setting.
