The opportunity

We're looking for a dynamic Director of Quality to lead the global strategy, operations, and performance of our Quality function. You'll be responsible for ensuring excellence across our product release cycles, custom implementations (including data projects), and production support.

This is a key leadership role focused on driving process improvements, enforcing best practices, and ensuring quality outcomes that align with industry standards. You'll oversee high-performing teams across the UK, US, Europe, and beyond, building and driving collaboration and delivering impact at scale.

Role responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Delivery

• Build and lead a scalable, bet in class Quality Centre of Excellence.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, Implementation and Support teams to prioritize, scope and plan releases.
• Define and implement QA frameworks and processes that ensure consistency, resilience and high performance.
• Lead the development of the QA strategy, methodology, discipline & framework.
• Drive and improve the QA team in areas of automated, agile, and other areas of testing.
• Oversee simultaneous Agile Product Development projects through the full lifecycle.
• Lead initiatives to improve testing at all levels.
• Develop and implement automated and manual test strategies across multiple platforms such as native mobile, web, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Create a shared vision of Quality and maintain strong cross-functional alignment.
• Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
• Drive continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques and test automation.
• Execute QA strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals.
• Develop, implement, and ensure adherence of quality standards as well as enforcing technical testing standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

• Extensive leadership and experience, leading a Quality department in the software industry.
• Agile certified or 10 plus years actively managing agile processes.
• Experience leading large-scale teams (50 or more), across an organization.
• QA management experience across multiple projects, geographies, and partners.
• Demonstrated ability to build, manage and inspire teams across a matrixed environment.
• Strong knowledge and background in Software Testing, Automation frameworks, Tools, and Practices.
• Experience of developing, leading and driving a strategic vision.
