Overview

MED Institute is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Account Management Intern for 6+ months. This paid internship is ideal for a student interested in business development, client relations, and project coordination within the health-care and medical technology industry.

You will gain experience working directly with the Account Management team to support client engagements, track project milestones, and contribute to relationship-building efforts. This is a great opportunity to learn about consultative sales, service delivery, and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.

MED Institute partners with medical device companies to bring innovative technologies to market. With expertise in regulatory strategy, clinical trial design, and technical consulting, our cross-disciplinary team supports clients from concept through commercialization. We're passionate about improving health-care through collaboration, innovation, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing client communications and tracking project status across multiple service lines.
  • Prepare materials for client meetings, including agendas, summaries, and project updates.
  • Maintain and update client records and engagement time-lines in CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce).
  • Support the Account Strategy team with lead tracking, proposal development, and contract coordination.
  • Conduct market and client research to support business development efforts.
  • Participate in internal and client meetings, taking notes and following up on action items.
  • Help ensure exceptional client experiences through clear communication and organizational support.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate in business and selling or sales management student (junior/senior) (preferred majors: Marketing, Sales, Management, Business Communication, or related fields).
  • Interests in health-care, life sciences, or B2B client services.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a team setting with multiple priorities and deadlines and a proactive attitude.
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. MED Institute does not intend to provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B or TN) for this employment position
