Job Description
The Medical Affairs Associate is a key contributor to the company’s Medical Affairs Department with responsibility for assisting in the development and maintenance of medical information and communications. This individual will help create fair and scientifically balanced materials for healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, internal employees, and investors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide data analysis and medical writing support to internal and external stakeholders
- Work closely with MSL team to assist in the development and submission of abstracts
- Assist development of clinical study, abstract, and training presentations
- Lead medical affairs activities for post market surveillance
- Maintain internal documents including bibliography and medical communication strategy
- Support response to HCP, consumer, and investor product/medical inquiries
- Travel: Up to 15% or as needed
- Advanced degree in medical field, life sciences, or public health preferred
- Excellent written and oral communicational skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Understanding of medical communication strategy
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Medical writing (study protocols, data analysis, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, presentations)
- Post-market surveillance programs for regulatory bodies
- Unsolicited request for information, off-label request process.
