Job Description
Position Summary
The Pelvic Floor & Continence Center Oncology Medical Office Assistant (PFCC OMOA) is an expanded role covering responsibilities within the provider clinic setting. Responsible for assisting in day to day clinical and front office operations in Pelvic Floor & Continence Center. The PFCC OMOA assists with patient and provider scheduling and document management per guidelines. As the PFCC OMOA for the clinic, this individual serves the clinical areas, maintaining patient throughput in conjunction with providers, in addition to performing tasks in the administrative areas. Front desk, Insurance, financial services and administrative operations are required. The PFCC OMOA, in addition to clinical duties, will coordinate patient flow from the front office to the clinical area, and provide administrative support to clinical staff. Participates in unit activities to promote patient satisfaction and performance improvement. Perform other tasks assigned by Director and management.

Education
- Associates of Healthcare - Preferred
Experience
- 1-2 Years General Medical Office - Required
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting is acceptable in lieu of certification
License & Certification
- MA, CMT, CNA - Preferred
