Job Description
The Physician Network Development Partner will play a critical role in establishing and nurturing partnerships with healthcare practices. This sales-oriented role requires an individual with extensive established connections in the local healthcare community, experience interfacing with both healthcare providers and practice managers, and the ability to compellingly communicate the benefits of partnering in clinical research.
The ideal candidate is a tenacious and results-driven relationship builder, with the knack for fostering trust and collaboration.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, reach out to new and existing relationships with physician practices in the local community interested in clinical research.
- Educate physicians, practice managers and their staff about the benefits of their patients participating in clinical research and how it can complement their practice.
- Collaborate closely with physician groups / healthcare organizations and DM internal departments, taking ownership of the success of the partnership to maximize benefits for all stakeholders: the practice, patients and DM Clinical Research's referral network.
- Facilitate alignment between physician practices and ongoing or upcoming clinical trials that best match the patient panel and interests of each practice.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with partner practices to ensure continued engagement and satisfaction.
- Present DM Nexus, DM Clinical Research’s in-house app, as a tool designed to streamline the partnership process, simplify patient management, and provide valuable insights to participating practices.
- Track and analyze physician engagement metrics, network growth, and patient enrollment contributions. Use data insights to refine strategies and ensure targets are met.
- Ensure all activities adhere to clinical research regulations, including IRB, HIPAA, and FDA guidelines, maintaining the highest standards of patient privacy and data security.
- Attend and represent DM Clinical Research at local medical conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the organization and expand the physician network.
- Explore and negotiate partnership opportunities with physician groups, healthcare systems, and specialty clinics to maximize network growth.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience in sales, healthcare, or physician practice management may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
- Minimum 4-6 years in a sales, business development, or physician-facing role within healthcare.
- Strong background working with physician practices or healthcare organizations.
- Existing network of physician practice contacts
Knowledge and Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with physicians and medical staff.
- Proven track record of achieving sales or business development goals is a must.
- Knowledge of clinical research processes and regulatory considerations.

- Protect patient privacy at all times by keeping discussion of names and medical conditions confined to private locations, out of earshot of anyone not employed by DMCR.
- Be polite, upbeat, and professional, on the phone and in person.
