Job Description

As a Senior Associate - Lab Applications Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for our research associates & scientists who are using our lab applications, managing user access, incidents, and requests. You will oversee the administration and maintenance of laboratory software applications, facilitate enhancement requests, and ensure the proper operation of GxP and non-GxP software. Additionally, you will maintain documentation, enhance collaboration with other departments, and train users and team members. You will also act as a subject matter expert during inspections and audits.

 

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for our research associates & scientists regarding our lab applications, responsible for user access management and triaging on incidents and requests.
  • Responsible for the administration and maintenance of laboratory software applications such as LabVantage LIMS/ELN, Waters ELN, Environmental Monitoring Systems (Rees) and Equipment Booking Systems.
  • Facilitate and/or drive change and/or enhancement requests for the above-mentioned lab applications.
  • Manage and ensure proper operation GxP and non-GxP software applications by adhering to Genmab’s procedures and current guidelines.
  • Maintain and create documentation of the GxP and non-GxP software applications by adhering to Genmab’s procedures and current guidelines.
  • Enhance and optimize collaboration with other departments and design process improvements and contribute to setting up the information systems landscape.
  • Guide and train users and team members around equipment /applications /automated solutions /compliance.
  • Act as subject-matter expert for the lab applications during inspections and audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant biotech area (e.g. biomedical technology eng.); Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum requirement: 3+ years of experience in relevant technical field, preferably in pharma/biotech research
  • Experienced in computerized systems validation in biotech/pharma industry according to GAMP5 best practices
  • Experience with system administration, validation and change management of complex laboratory (database) applications with many users]
  • Experience working with laboratory equipment and electronic lab notebooks
  • Experience with creating and managing PowerBI dashboards
