Job Description

The next-generation gene therapy products Poseida is making are complex, and our gene therapy research and development department combines scientists with a wide range of technical backgrounds. You’ll work alongside organic chemists synthesizing novel nanomaterials, formulation scientists devising non-viral delivery platforms, molecular biologists inventing genome engineering tools, and pharmacologists discovering how to deploy Poseida’s innovative gene therapy modalities. Your assays will be used to identify promising new nano formulations and treatment strategies, as well as characterize the performance of gene therapy candidates. Our objective is to make gene therapies able to cure severe disease at all stages of life: this is a daunting challenge, and we need your ingenuity to meet it.

Position Summary

Poseida Therapeutics, Inc. is searching for an outstanding Sr. Research Associate to join our highly collaborative Genetic Medicines team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to support preclinical program development as well as develop delivery tools for gene therapy applications in an exciting and dynamic environment focused on cutting-edge gene editing technology.
