The Summer Intern will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineer III and will be responsible for assisting with manufacturing operations.
This position is located at our Northbridge site and will begin on Monday, June 1st and end on Friday, August 7th.

The Summer Intern will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineer III and will be responsible for assisting with manufacturing operations.
This position is located at our Northbridge site and will begin on Monday, June 1st and end on Friday, August 7th.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities and projects to be completed include the following:
- Assist manufacturing engineers with daily tasks including troubleshooting equipment and supporting production.
- Support continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma principles and tools.
- Help review and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and equipment documentation.
- Contribute to equipment qualification activities including data collection and documentation.
- Participate in equipment lifecycle activities including calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supply Chain) on daily production needs.
- Assist manufacturing engineers and operators with quality events such as deviations by supporting root cause analysis and implementation of corrections.
Qualifications
Primary skills and knowledge required include, but are not limited to the following:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, or quality systems
- Proficient with computers and common software tools such as Microsoft Office
Level of Education Required:
- Must be a student in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited college/university
- Undergraduate student with a minimum of Rising Junior status.
Preferred Field(s) of Study: Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
