Biology Jobs
People majoring in biology may pursue research or laboratory scientist, analyst, chemist and technician roles. Their main duties include applying principles of biology, chemistry or biochemistry to scientific laboratory research related to living organisms. Job seekers might find themselves working in the biotech, pharma, biopharma, healthcare industries, academic institutions and in many other biology-based positions. Since this role involves conducting research in living organisms, a strong foundational knowledge of biology and its many specializations may be required. Knowledge of and experience with varied molecular biology-based and immunology-based techniques will also be useful.
