Amy Wireman joined BioMarin in 2013 and currently serves as the senior vice president of human resources. In her role, Wireman is responsible for managing all HR teams, including HR business partners, regional HR teams, learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits and HR systems and operations. She is a graduate of New York University.
Katelyn Petti Hokenberg, Head of Global Learning & Development, Merz Aesthetics
Katelyn Petti joined Merz in December 2016 as their first director of organizational development and talent management. Her efforts building company culture and developing employees contributed to several of Merz’s award wins in 2019. Additionally, Petti leads Merz Cares, Merz internal philanthropic team and founded the Women’s Leadership Network. She is thrilled to expand her development of learning and training systems and resources across the four global regions and will focus on the creation and implementation of cultural sensitivity, diversity and inclusion programs this year.
Scott Gottesman, Head of Global Talent Acquisition, AVROBIO
Scott is an HR leader that has developed and operationalized talent acquisition strategies across all functions and geographies within life sciences. He has deployed several times, for long stretches, overseas where he did both turn around and build-work in the TA space in EU, APAC and LATAM. He spent 8.5 years at Biogen and held various roles of increasing responsibility, including the ownership of the recruiting strategy and process for designated divisions/regions (US, APAC, LATAM, EU) within Corporate Functions, Global Commercial Operations, R&D, Manufacturing, and Executive Search. His last role at Biogen was the Head of Talent Acquisition for Biogen’s US Organization, International Markets, Medical, and Global Product Strategy & Commercialization. Scott is currently the Head of Global Talent Acquisition at AVROBIO where he is responsible for being the architect of the TA organization and strategy.
