Job Description
ContinuumRx, the nation's leading JV specialty and home infusion therapy expert, is seeking Account Executives - Sp ecialty/IG to add to our Nashville Team. The ideal candidate needs to possess strong interpersonal skills, have an energetic self-starter personality, and exhibits compassion in caring for people. As an Account Executive - Specialty, you will call on physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in physician offices and clinic settings to facilitate infusion patient referrals and coordinate patient care. The Account Executive has an instrumental role in making a real difference by improving the quality of life for patients in need of home infusion.

- Responsible for sales and marketing efforts in a specified territory and for growing top line revenue and margin of Specialty and Ig therapies
- Develops and implements sales strategies for assigned territory.
- Creates a territory sales plan and regularly assesses progress on opportunities.
- Prioritizes accounts based on total potential, current referrals, likely profitability, service needs, and probability of success.
- Plans activities and account routing to ensure sufficient coverage of all key customers.
- Creates and updates short-and long-term account plans; utilizes to guide actions.
- Identifies key customer decision makers and builds relationships to gain access to all decision makers. Assesses and documents the competitive landscape within the account (e.g. pre-existing competitor relationships, presence of clinical liaison, etc.).
- Sets account objectives and establishes a plan for achieving objectives.
- Tracks / records call activity and progress on referral opportunities.
- Leverages internal sources (e.g. sales volume data) to identify high potential customers. Leverages external sources (e.g. pharma reps) to identify high potential customers.
- Uses all available information to understand customer needs and to identify opportunities.
- Work closely with clinical branch personnel to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction with the goal of delivering the best service possible to patients receiving these critical therapies in the comfort of their homes.
- Utilizes appropriate marketing materials and tools to convey consistent messaging across the organization.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree and at least two (2) years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
- Experience applying Sales and Marketing principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products and services.
- Experience with analyzing and reporting sales data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions
- Experience developing ways of accomplishing goals with little or no supervision, depending on oneself to complete objectives and determining when escalation of issues is necessary.
