Position Summary

We are seeking experienced counterintelligence (CI) or criminal investigative professionals to serve as an Operational Threat Instructor. This position focuses on helping students understand adversarial behaviors, threat methodologies, and operational decision-making through realistic, scenario-based instruction. Candidates should possess investigative experience and the ability to think from the perspective of hostile intelligence services or criminal actors.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction focused on adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Develop realistic scenarios that challenge students to anticipate and mitigate threats.
• Apply CI or investigative experience to operational training exercises.
• Mentor students on identifying vulnerabilities and mitigating operational risk.
• Evaluate student performance and provide actionable feedback.
• Assist with curriculum updates based on evolving threat environments.
• Participate in planning and execution of practical exercises.

Required Skills

• Active Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.
• Counterintelligence or criminal investigative experience.
• Strong understanding of threat methodologies and adversarial behaviors.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Familiarity with UTS concepts.

Desired Skills

• Formal UTS training.
• Previous instructional or mentoring experience.
• Experience designing or facilitating operational exercises.
• Intelligence Community operational experience.

Additional Details

Fusion Innovation anticipates the annual base salary for this position will generally range from $100,000 to $215,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to:

• Years of direct applicable experience with this work and the customer
• Relevant education, certifications, and training
• Contract labor category requirements, skill level, contract bill rate, and hours allocation
• Alignment with the position's responsibilities
• Additional specialized skills

In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be considered for discretionary bonuses and are eligible for Fusion Innovation's comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, company-sponsored retirement contributions, paid leave, professional development opportunities, and other employee benefits.
