Now Hiring: Billing Specialist

Raleigh, NC Area

Pay: $31-$33/hour

Alphanumeric is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our growing team in the Raleigh, NC area. If you have a strong background in billing operations, revenue recognition, ERP systems, and enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

• Prepare, review, and issue accurate client invoices on time.
• Verify billing information against contracts, purchase orders, and pricing agreements.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end and year-end billing close activities.
• Set up new projects and employee records within the ERP system.
• Perform monthly revenue recognition activities.
• Support accounts receivable processes and other finance initiatives as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related billing experience OR Associate's degree with 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience with Fixed-Fee Billing and Timesheet-Based Billing (required).
• Experience with revenue recognition.
• Previous Billing Manager experience is a plus.
• NetSuite ERP experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
